"During the 44-day war, Azerbaijan liberated its lands, which were under occupation for 30 years, from the occupation of Armenia. In this process, as Turkey, we stood by our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters in their just cause," APA's local bureau reports that it was stated at a press conference of the Turkish National Defense Ministry.
A spokesman for the ministry said that the Joint Monitoring Center, established under the ceasefire agreement signed after the war, is working together with the Turkish Armed Forces and Russian troops and makes effort to ensure a permanent ceasefire and stability.
