Speaker of Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili will sign new law on "foreign influence" into law, the speaker told this to journalists, APA reports.

He noted that after the abolition of veto, the law was sent to the President to sign.

"The law was sent to the Presidential Administration yesterday. Most likely, she will not sign the law, so I will sign it myself," - Papuashvili said.

Note that the previous day, the Georgian Parliament canceled President Salome Zurabishvili's veto of the law "On foreign influence transparency". In the voting boycotted by the opposition, 84 MPs voted in favor of the decision and 4 MPs voted against it.
