Relations between Georgia and the European Union have remained unchanged, remaining at a low point in recent years, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated in an interview with the Georgian television channel Imedi, APA reports.

"We hope that the European Union and its bureaucracy will be able to regain sovereignty. If that happens, the situation will change. However, for now, the situation remains difficult for the European bureaucracy. Consequently, our relations remain at the same level as in previous years, which is a great pity," Kobakhidze said.

According to the head of the cabinet, Georgia has been facing external pressure for several years in a row.
