Georgia's President Salome Zourabichvili has alleged that the police special forces intervening in the protests are under the influence of narcotics, she told French media, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
She stated that the special forces have been brutally dispersing the protests for the fifth night and that they have been given "amphetamines."
"Today, we are witnessing Russian repression carried out by special forces under the influence of narcotics. Their brutality reflects this. They are being given "amphetamines" or some other substances to sustain their endurance, as this has been going on for five days now," Zurabishvili said.
