Georgian PM: Zurabishvili positions herself as "president" of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, we cannot take this seriously

There cannot be three de facto Presidents in one country, Georgia's Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said in response to President Salome Zurabishvili’s comment that she would remain president even after her term expires.

"A country cannot have three de facto presidents. She (Salome Zurabishvili) positions herself the 'president' of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. We simply cannot take this seriously. On December 29, she will have to leave her office and will be replaced by the elected President Mikheil Kavelashvili," Kobakhidze said.

Note that Salome Zurabishvili has stated that she does not recognize the legitimacy of the parliamentary and presidential elections, and therefore the President's authority will continue after December 29, when the new president will be inaugurated.
