The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia has considered the presidential election held in parliament to be valid, according to the CEC spokesperson, Natia Ioseliani, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
"As of 11:30, 170 members of the electoral college participated in the process. Accordingly, the election was deemed to have taken place. The election was valid because more than half of the full composition of the electoral college was already present," Ioseliani said.
