France and Ukraine signed a letter of intent to jointly develop unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other defense technologies. This was announced by France's Minister of the Armed Forces, Catherine Vautrin, following her visit to Kyiv, APA reports.
"I signed a letter of intent with my colleague [Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov] regarding the joint development and implementation of innovative defense solutions, particularly in the area of drones and data processing," the head of the military department reported.
She also reported visiting a combat drone manufacturing plant in Ukraine. Vautrin was accompanied on her trip by high-ranking French military officers, including Vice-Admiral Jacques Fayard.
