Dozens of people trapped under rubble after airstrikes hit school in Kursk

Air strikes have been launched on a boarding school in the city of Sudzha, Kursk region, APA reports.

95 people are believed to be trapped under the rubble of the boarding school as a result of the incident that occurred yesterday evening.

It is reported that the elderly and children are among the people trapped under the rubble. Dozens of civilians, including women and children, were in the building during the attack.

The city's military commandant is currently conducting search and rescue operations to rescue civilians trapped under the rubble of the boarding school that was hit by airstrikes.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the air strikes were launched by the Russian Air Force.

The Ukrainian side blamed Russia for the incident, saying that these strikes were another war crime by Russia against the civilian population.

The Russian side, however, says that the air strikes were launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the Sumy region.

There are conflicting reports about the incident. Both sides have confirmed that there are people trapped under the rubble.

It should be noted that the settlement where the boarding school is located is currently under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
