Brussels. Alexander Kin-APA. European Union concerns that the members failed to reach consensus on the extension of mandate to the OSCE in Georgia, APA’s special correspondent from Brussels reports.
The statement calls on the OSCE member states to continue discussions around the issue as the organization has a very significant role in the region.
OSCE Office in Georgia will stop its function from January 1. Russia passed unilateral decision to veto the extension of the OSCE mandate in Georgia at the assembly of OSCE Permanent Council.
