Brussels. Alexander Kin–APA. Physicist of Clausthal Technical University in Lower Saxony, Germany Friedrich Balk estimated a speed of the cork from the shaken champagne bottle. The scientist used photoelectric and acoustic methods and defined that the cork is flying with 40 km/h speed. From the theoretical view, if pressure inside the bottle reaches three bars, the cork’s speed can reach 100 km/h. However such a pressure can be created inside the bottles during the sunray-effecting fermentation process. Corks of the champagne bottles kept in refrigerator or not shaken have a very few speed which has not threat for human life.
