Latvia to erect Wehrmacht soldier’s monument in the place of fascist death camp

Riga–APA. A monument of Wehrmacht soldiers will be erected in the place of former fascist death camp in Salaspils, Latvia. According to the architectural project the central monument will be in a form of big crucifixion, as a symbol of Christianity, APA reports. It will be surrounded by the little crucifixions and memorial plaque remembering the German soldiers killed in Latvia will be hanged on the monument.
