Vaclav Klaus re-elected president of Czechia

Prague-APA. Czech Parliament re-elected President Vaclav Klaus for a second five-year term. He was supported by 141 legislators in the third round of voting by the Parliament. Vaclav Klaus’ rival, 55-year-old economics professor Jan Svejnar lost to Klaus with a margin of 30 votes in the third round. Analysts regard re-election of Vaclav Klaus as the continuation of the country’s foreign policy on the current course.
