Baku-APA. An American student, who studied at Sotheby’s Art Institute in London, has been killed by a crocodile while on holiday in India’s Andaman Islands, APA reports quoting telegraph.co.uk website.
Lauren Failla, 25, was staying at a resort with her boyfriend when she went missing during a snorkelling trip on April 28.

Her body was found two days later.

Michael Tran, a US State Department spokesman, said Indian authorities continue to investigate her death but it appeared she had been attacked by a crocodile.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Failla had just completed a master’s degree at the Sotheby’s Art Institute in London.

Miss Failla’s death comes four years after her older sister Emily was killed in a rock-climbing accident in Washington.
