According to the newspaper, Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has recived this signal from Russia.
“The construction may be resumed due to two reasons. These are sudden worsening of Russia-Turkey relations and stagnation in Chinese economy. The second factor prevents construction of “The Power of Siberia”. Resumption of project by delivering thenatural gas to Europe through south will meet EU demands”, the newspaper says.
The newspaper also said that the project will be discussed at the meeting of the Russia-Bulgaria Intergovernmental Commission to be held at late January in Sofia.
