Baku. Aqshin Rafiqoglu – APA-Economics. In March 2016, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) produced 646,200 tonnes of oil, down 9.9% from 2015, up 6.81% from February.
SOCAR produced 1,898,200 tonnes of oil in the first quarter, down 8.36% compared to previous year.
Note that, SOCAR produced 647,000 tonnes of oil in January, 605,000 tonnes in February.
Oil production across the country stood at 3,649,700 tonnes in March, up 1.94% in comparison to the same period of 2015.
In January-March 2016, 10,507,200 tonnes of oil overall were produced in the country, down 1.64% from previous year.
A total of 3,518,200 tonnes of oil was produced in the country in January 2016, 3,339,300 tonnes in February.
