SOCAR increases gas production by 5% year-on-year

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 605,400 cm of gas in July 2015, up 5.27% compared to a year earlier, 6.10% to June of this year.

Gas production by the SOCAR made 570,200 cm in January, 519,100 cm in February, 580,400 cm in March, 555,600 cm in April, 576,100 cm in May, and 570,600 cm in June.

In January-July SOCAR produced 3,977,400 cm of gas, down 9.53% in annual comparison.

In July, total gas production across the country made 2,468,000 cm, down 7.33% from previous year, 4.10% from June.

Gas production across the country made 2,496,000 cm in January, 2,330,000 cm in February, 2,589,400 cm in March, 2,482,300 cm in April, 2,454,700 cm in May, and 2,327,000 cm in June.

Totally, 17,147,400 cm of gas were produced in January-July across the country, down 4.54% by contrast to a year earlier.
