According to Izvestisiya newspaper, the first Deputy Chairman of the Commission on the support of family, children and motherhood Public chamber (OP) Pavel Sychev has appealed to the Minister of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev, heads of Federal Customs Service Andrei Belianinov and Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor) Anna Popova.
The appeal says that Turkish suppliers deliver the goods to Russia through Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan”.
“There is information that Turkish companies are actively seeking ways to maintain supplies to Russia and use these countries. This will also expand Azerbaijani suppliers’ presence in the Russian market. Different schemes may be used here. This must be prevented”, Sychev said.
