Baku - APA-Economics. “As President Aliyev said Prezident Ä°lham said, Shahdeniz 2 is one of big energy projects of the world. This project focused on energy security and diversification”, said the Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev.
The Minister noted that Shahdeniz 2 will cause changes in energy geography of Europe and Azerbaijan.
“According to calculations of the initial calculations, Azerbaijan will get $200 bln from export of Shahdeniz 2 gas to Europe”, Mustafayev said.
The Minister said these funds will cause increase of investments in Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector and this will contribute to the development of the country.
