Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. The Southern Gas Corridor is of great importance in terms of energy security, said the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan, APA-Economics reports quoting Turkish media.
“We laid the foundation of the project in Baku last year. The Southern Gas Corridor is very significant project in terms of energy security and diversification of energy sources. We laid the foundation of TANAP project in March 2015. From 2018, TANAP will start to transport gas”, the President said.
The head of state has also appreciated Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum projects.
