Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. SOCAR’s Azneft Production Union (PU) prevented decline of oil and gas production in January-November and event achieved dynamic growth.
The PU told APA-Economics that 6,308,000 tonnes of oil were extracted in January-November while the plan made 6,231,000 tonnes. Moreover, gas extraction made 5.3 bcm of gas while the plan made 5.2 bcm (the plan was fulfilled 108.2%).
92 of inactive wells were put into operation. 53,100 tonnes of oil have been extracted from these well, while the forecast these wells was 23,800 tonnes.
Since early 2015, 672 geological measures have been taken and consequently, 277,800 tonnes of oil have been extracted, up 53,900 tonnes from the plan. As a result of technical measures, oil production made 51,200, while the forecast made 28,000 tonnes.
As a result of expansion of drilling works, 66 well have been put into use and 190,800 tonnes of oil have been extracted from these wells (plan – 162,200 tonnes).
