Azerkimya Production Association to be completely modernized by 2020

Baku. Agshin Rafigoghlu – APA. The Azerkimya Production Association will be completely modernized by 2020, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said.

He made the remarks on Friday during an event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the chemical industry.

SOCAR has launched a program on the modernization of Azerkimya in 2015-2015, Abdullayev said, noting in line with the program, the existing plants of Azerkimya will be fully modernized.

The SOCAR president went on to add that the modernization of Azerkimya is important in terms of providing raw materials to the new plants to be created in the Sumgayit Chemical Park.
