Azerbaijan sharply decreases automobile manufacture

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-November of 2015, Azerbaijan manufactured machinery and equipment, transport facilities, cars and trailers worth AZN 237.7 mln.

State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that machinery and equipment manufacturing dropped 29.8%, cars and trailers ascended 4.5% times, other transport facilities slipped 0.5 %.

Azerbaijan manufactured 728 private cars, down 60.9% by contrast to a year earlier. Finished products stood at 245 units.

334 trucks were manufactured in the country during the same period, up 45.9% in annual comparison (finished products – 2).

At the same time, 602 special purpose vehicles were manufactured during the same period. Tractor manufacturing fell 17.2% to 941 (finished products - 2).
