Azerbaijan sees 10% rise in production of oil products

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-April, 2015, Azerbaijan produced AZN 855.8 mln-products, up 10.0% from previous year.

 

State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that gasoline production stood at 401,500 tonnes, up 0.3% from 2014. Consequently, finished products made 69,000 tonnes.

 

Diesel production rose 50.2% to 1,117,600 tonnes (finished product – 87,600 tonnes), kerosene production fell 612.2% to 231,000 tonnes (finished product – 43,900 tonnes), oil bitumen production dropped 47.2% to 48,900 tonnes (finished product – 15,900 tonnes), and lubricating oil production declined 74.1% to 4,200 tonnes (finished product – 15,900).

 

71,200 tonnes of petrol for petro-chemical industry were produced during the same period, up 69.1% by contrast to a year earlier. Finished product made 2,900 tonnes.

 

Moreover, Azerbaijan produced 1,800 tonnes of fuel oil (-97.3%). As of May 1, 2015, the finished product stood at 10,900 tonnes.

 

At the same time, gasoil production advanced 3.9 times to 361,200 tonnes with the finished products of 11,700 tonnes.
