Azerbaijan reduces oil and gas production

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-October 2015, Azerbaijan produced AZN 13.8 bln-products in the mining sector of industry, up 1.7% from previous year.

State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that the crude oil production made 35.0 mln tonnes, marketable gas production – 16.4 bcm. Oil production declined 1.8%, gas production rose 6.2%.

In January-October 2015, 35,025,800 tonnes of crude oil (including gas condensate) were produced in the country, down 2.0% compared to the ten months of previous year. Consequently, the finished product made 339,900 tonnes.

Of this, 34,977,200 tonnes are marketable crude oil, down 1.8% in annual comparison.

During the reporting period, 24,458.8 mln cubic meters of gas were produced in the country, down 2.7% from 2014. Finished product stood at 788,600 cubic meters.

Of this, 16,392.1 mln cubic meters are marketable gas, up 6.2% compared to 2014.
