Azerbaijan reduces gasoline and kerosene production

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan produced AZN 1,830.9 mln-oil products in January-September 2015, down 0.7% from previous year.

According to State Statistical Committee, gasoline production in the nine months made 907,000 tonnes, down 0.5% in annual comparison. Finished products made 41,300 tonnes.

Diesel production rose 1.1% to 2,128,300 tonnes (finished product – 65,900 tonnes), kerosene production fell 2.5% to 512,100 tonnes (finished product – 24,300 tonnes), oil bitumen production dropped 5.0% to 171,900 tonnes (finished product – 1,600 tonnes), and lubricating oil production declined 55.1% to 18,200 tonnes (finished product – 11,600).

142,200 tonnes of petrol for petro-chemical industry were produced during the same period, up 2.0% by contrast to a year earlier. Finished product made 1,300 tonnes.

Moreover, Azerbaijan produced 263,800 tonnes of furnace oil (+47.5%). As of September 1, 2015, the finished product stood at 5,200 tonnes.
