Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan produced oil products worth AZN 622.3 mln in January –March 2016, down 3.5% from previous year.
According to State Statistical Committee, gasoline production made 281,100 tonnes, down 6.4% compared to a year ago. Finished products stood at 71,900 tonnes.
Diesel production fell 28.2% to 572,000 tonnes (finished product – 56,000 tonnes), kerosene production rose 5.3% to 172,000 tonnes (finished product – 51,900 tonnes), oil bitumen production dropped 32.5% to 22,000 tonnes (finished product – 9,100 tonnes), and lubricating oil production declined 64.3% to 1,000 tonnes (finished product – 13,100).
42,800 tonnes of petrol for petro-chemical industry were produced during the same period, down 10.3% by contrast to a year earlier. Finished product made 4,300 tonnes.
Moreover, Azerbaijan produced 339,700 tonnes of furnace oil, up 1,698.5 times by contrast to 2015. As of April 1, 2016, the finished product stood at 8,800 tonnes.
Petroleum coke production slid 67.0% to 21,400 tonnes (finished products – 2,500 tonnes).
