Baku. Agshin Rafiqoglu – APA-Economics. In the first quarter of 2016, Azerbaijan’s main pipelines transported 8,146,134.88 tons of crude oil, down 3.22% compared to a year earlier.
The State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics that Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline exported 6,899,477 tonnes, up 3.30% in comparison with previous year.
Transportation via Supsa pipeline increased 1.28% to 1,106,852.80 tonnes, via Novorossiysk pipeline fell 4.24 times to 79,957 tonnes.
In the reporting period, 59,848.08 tonnes of crude oil were transported via railway transport, down 5.11% compared to a year earlier.
