Another contract signed on TAP construction

Baku. Aqshin Rafiqoglu - APA-Economics. The consortium for the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has signed another contract with the German company Salzgitter Mannesmann International GmbH, the consortium told APA.

According to the contract, pipelines with a diameter of 48 will be used in the 270-km ground area which the pipeline intersects and pipelines made by the this company will be used in the onshore and offshore areas intersected by TAP.

TAP is planning to sign contracts with several other major companies by the end of this year. In 2016, as planned, the pipeline will be constructed in Greece, Albania, and Italy.
