Anglo Asian Mining earned over AZN 74 mln last year

Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. The Anglo Asian Mining plc produced 17,930 ounces of gold in the fourth quarter of 2015. Total gold production in 2015 increased 19.49% to 72,033 ounces. Q1 gold production made 17,193 ounces, Q2 production 18,745 ounces and Q3 production 18,164 ounces.

Q4 copper production stood at 335 tonnes, silver production at 17,710 ounces. 28,626 ounces of silver and 969 ounces of copper were produced throughout a year, relevantly down 8% and up 24% in annual comparison.

Moreover, 15,579 ounces of gold were sold during the reporting period. Average price for each ounce made $1,108. In 2015, totally 63,924 ounces of gold were sold in average price of $1,161. In other word, the company earned $74,215,764 from gold sale.
