22nd International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition kicks off in Baku

BakÄ±. Ramiz MikayÄ±loÄŸlu - APA. The 22^nd International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference have today kicked off in Baku.

APA reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is attending a solemn opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Senior advisor of ITE Group Plc., Andrew Wood will deliver a keynote speech.

Thereafter, President Ilham Aliyev will make a speech.

Lord Mayor of London Alan Yarrow will read UK Prime Minister David Cameron’s letter at the event. At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister of Poland Janusz PiechociÅ„ski and Iraqi Oil Minister Adil Abdulmahdi Hassan Shubber wil make speeches.

The exhibitions and conference are organized by Iteca Caspian and its partner ITE Group. For 22 years, the exhibition and conference has been identifying the main trends in the oil and gas industry in the region. Every year, the exhibition and conference brings together senior level directors to discuss key oil and gas projects in the Caspian region. The Ministry for Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Oil and Gas Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) show invaluable support for Caspian Oil and Gas. This year, the exhibition will feature 315 companies from 27 countries, 80% of which are world-renowned companies.
