"Azerishiq" will be responsible entity for supplying electricity to consumers in Nakhchivan

The areas of activity of "Azerishiq" Open Joint-Stock Company have been expanded, this is reflected in the amendment to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the approval of the Charter and structure of "Azerishiq" Open Joint-Stock Company, APA reports.

"Azerishiq" OJSC will also ensure the reliable, safe, and efficient supply of electricity to consumers in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic by purchasing electricity, implementing new technologies in this area, modernizing the material and technical base and making efficient use of it, as well as carrying out other works related to the development of this field.

According to the decision in the force, the main objectives of "Azerishiq" OJSC are to ensure the reliable, safe, and efficient supply of electricity to consumers in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan (excluding the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic) by purchasing electricity, implementing new technologies in this field, modernizing the material and technical base and making efficient use of it, as well as carrying out other works related to the development of this field.
