Kulevi Oil Terminal reopens

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Kulevi Oil Terminal in Georgia’s Black Sea shore has restarted full operation, said Nadir Azmammadov, Press Secretary of Azerbaijan State Railways Company (ADDY).
The terminal was shut down after a key railway bridge near the Kaspi area of Georgia was blown up in mid-August.
He said the same volumes of oil cargo are being sent to the terminal by rail.
Kulevi Terminal is owned by State Oil Company of Azerbaijan.
A key railway bridge 45km west of the capital Tbilisi was blown up on August 16. Georgia accused Russian troops of blowing up a key railway bridge while Russia’s General Staff denied carrying out the bridge attack, declaring that hostilities that flared around South Ossetia were, as far as it was concerned, over.
