Oil prices have continued to decline on global markets, APA-Economics reports.
The price of October futures for Brent crude fell by $0.36, or 0.41%, to $87.48 per barrel.
October futures for US WTI crude decreased by $0.37, or 0.45%, to $81.86 per barrel.
Note that the decline in oil prices is attributed to expectations of reduced supply risks amid growing prospects for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, talks between Iran and Oman, as well as Qatar’s mediation efforts.
