According to him, the price of flour hasn’t increased and the residents have no dissatisfaction about it.
“I am in Siyazan since Jan.12. I’m holding meetings with elders here to clarify the matter. However, some members of APFP and Musavat Party attempted to cause provocations in the district taking advantage of manat’s devaluation. All of them have already been detained. The detained teenagers acknowledged that they were drunk and trained by those persons,” he said.
“The residents were told that protests are not a solution to problems related to loan debts and they were offered to gather at the headquarters of New Azerbaijan Party to discuss ways to solve their problems,” Suleymanov stressed.
At present, the situation in the district is stable, he said.
With regard to the reports that recent staff cuts in Siyazan Broiler OJSC he allegedly owns caused protests in the district, Suleymanov said he has nothing to do with the company, calling these reports ‘false and slander’.
“Everyone in Siyazan knows who owns this company. As far as I know the management of the company has recently been changed. There will be additional jobs in the company as new breeds of chicken were brought there,” he completed.
