He said that the prices of medicines in Azerbaijan are regulated by the state.
“Of course, taking this step, the government aims to ensure that the citizens don’t suffer from artificial price hike, and somehow achieved it,” noted Ahmadov.
Currently, the government is trying to achieve businessmen engaged in the import of medicines not to incur losses, he said.
Ahmadov went on to add that the best option will be developed to regulate medicine prices in the country. “No artificial price hike will be allowed. Prices will be redefined in accordance with the decline in manat rate, and no one will incur losses,” he said.
