Intercivilization misunderstanding triggers concern for Azerbaijan â€“ President Aliyev

Baku – APA. Intercivilization misunderstanding in the world also triggers concern for Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said Jan.10.

He made the remarks at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the results of socio-economic development in 2015 and objectives for the future.

The president said over the last year, the political, economic and military crisis in the world has deepened and bloody clashes continued.

He noted that bloody clashes in the Middle East claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and forced millions of people to become refugees and internally displaced persons.

According to President Aliyev, Azerbaijan also experienced such a problem in the past, however, it managed to overcome this difficult situation due to internal resource, taking important steps to improve the lives of refugees.

Currently, radical and Islamophobic tendencies are increasing in Europe where the refugees are moving, the head of state stressed.
