He said that the polling process was well-organized.
“People have prepared very well for the elections. They were thoroughly informed of the elections,” he added.
Israeli observer Arye Gut also confirmed that the elections were transparent.
“The elections took place quite democratically. People were rather comfortable. I think the election took place transparently despite the heavy rhetoric in Azerbaijan. I think there is no need to pay attention to the anti-rhetoric that started in the US and Europe. Azerbaijan needs to be internally strong and continue on its path. There was no pressure on the election. This election became one of the most crucial steps Azerbaijan had taken towards democracy,” he said.
