Baku - APA. The Kiev District Court of Simferopol has ruled to arrest in absentia the leader of the Crimean Tatar people, Ukrainian MP Mustafa Dzhemilev, his lawyer wrote on Facebook.
“The investigator and the prosecutor said that a criminal case had been initiated against Dzhemilev under three articles of the Criminal Code of Russia. He is accused of hiding from investigation, exerting pressure on witnesses and illegally living in the Crimea as a citizen of another country,” said the lawyer.
Dzhemilev was put on the federal wanted list, the lawyer said.
