Baku. Etibar Mammadov – APA. The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan have been held in accordance with European standards, the French National Assembly’s Member Thierry Mariani, who took part in an observer mission at the Nov.1 elections, told APA.
No incidents were recorded during Azerbaijan’s parliamentary elections, he said, considering the elections satisfactory.
Michel Voisin, a member of the French National Assembly and chairman of the France-Azerbaijan Friendship Group, in turn said this was his eighth visit to Baku. “From the point of view of compliance with international standards every time I see some progress in Azerbaijan,” said the French MP.
Voisin noted that the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were held in normal conditions.
