"For some time now, budget discussions are being held very actively in various committees of Milli Majlis," said Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov during the discussion of budget envelope for 2024 at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
Prime Minidter noted that the members of Parliament have raised the issues of concern to society and they were answered by the relevant institutions: "Many issues raised by MPs during last year's budget discussions have been resolved this year. Azerbaijan has achieved unprecedented development and progress in all fields. This year we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the election of President Ilham Aliyev as the President of Azerbaijan. Over the past 20 years, our country has achieved rapid development in all areas, Azerbaijan's political and economic opportunities expanded, and our modern army has been created. Of course, the most glorious page of the 20th century is the Patriotic War, which resulted in the liberation of the occupied lands and the restoration of our territorial integrity.With the 1-day anti-terrorist measures conducted on September 19 under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the root of separatism was once and for all cut off in our lands."
