"The investigation of the criminal case in connection with the arrested Armenian separatists has been concluded," Kamran Aliyev, Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan told journalists, APA reports.

He added that the procedures for conducting investigative actions have been completed: "It is already the stage of familiarization with the materials of the criminal case. This stage takes quite a long time. Because there are too many victims. At the same time, the rights of accused persons are ensured in accordance with international conventions and requirements of national legislation. Each of them has several attorneys and rights to access the materials. Because the charges are quite serious. They are accusations related to separatism, including the destruction of our historical and cultural monuments," he said.

Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General underlined that after these processes are completed, the case will be presented to the court for consideration.
