Another 30 children brought to Azerbaijan from Ukraine by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population have been provided with rehabilitation services, the Ministry told APA.
At the first stage they underwent examinations at the Gabala Children's Rehabilitation Center of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry, and an individual rehabilitation program was prepared for each of them.
It was noted that under this program, individual consultations, group therapies, yoga and dance therapy sessions are being conducted to help stabilize their emotional condition and support their integration into society. The children are also provided with rehabilitation services such as therapeutic massage, therapeutic pool and bath treatments, art therapy and others.
It was reported that within the framework of the 10-day social rehabilitation program, excursions to historical sites and museums, board games, competitions and other activities are also planned to ensure meaningful leisure time for the Ukrainian children.
