A delegation led by Vietnam’s Prosecutor General has arrived in Baku on a working visit, the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA.
Vietnam’s Prosecutor General Nguyen Tien visited the Alley of Honor, where he paid deep respect to the cherished memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and laid a wreath at his grave. He also visited the graves of prominent ophthalmologist scientist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva, distinguished statesman Aziz Aliyev, and Professor Tamerlan Aliyev.
Guests who came to the Alley of Martyrs paid tribute to the memory of the heroic sons of the Motherland who died for the independence of Azerbaijan and laid flowers on their graves.
During a meeting between Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev and his Vietnamese counterpart, it was emphasized that interstate relations have been developing dynamically as a result of the activities of the political leadership of both countries.
In addition, during the meeting, a Cooperation Program covering various areas of prosecutorial activity, including asset recovery and environmental protection, was signed with the aim of strengthening legal cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of the two countries and further intensifying existing ties in the future.
Following the meeting, the guests familiarized themselves with the History Museum of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
