“Number of missing people will increase,” the chief of the Working Group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ismayil Akhundov told APA.
The Chief of the Working Group stressed that for 30 years people did not have hope that they would get information regarding their missing relatives: “Currently, 7 people have applied to us regarding the disappearance of their family members. We are investigating them. We will probably register them. That’s why Azerbaijan’s list of missing people will be updated and the number of missing people will increase.”
