Azerbaijan raised the retirement age of military personnel to make longer use of the existing experience of military personnel, it was reflected in the bill amending the laws “On the Status of Military Personnel”, “On Approval of the Regulations “On Military Service”, “On Labor Pensions”, “On Military Duty and Military Service”, discussed in the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
It is proposed to increase the minimum length of service for retirement as military personnel from 20 to 25 calendar years.
The draft was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
