Member of Azadlig bloc: â€œThe persons, who will participate in the presidential elections, may be dismissedâ€

There are persons in Azadlig bloc, who support participation in the presidential elections, but they are very few,â€ co-chair of Azadlig bloc, chairman of Citizen and Development Party Ali Aliyev told APA. He said that some put forth this proposal in the local organizations, but the leadership unanimously supports boycott. Ali Aliyev said the statements that the bloc will change the boycott decision are groundless and noted that he does not believe there will be changes that may cause the change of the decision.
â€œWe waited enough. But even the minimum opportunities were not created. Thatâ€™s why our decision on boycotting was made late,â€ he said.
As regards the members of the bloc, who will not obey the blocâ€™s decision on boycotting, Ali Aliyev said that there is no such a mechanism to keep all the members under control.
â€œBut these members should do their best for the execution of this decision. I do not believe that those who protest the decision will participate in the elections,â€ he said.
Ali Aliyev said the persons who will protest the boycott decision may be dismissed.
The chairman of the party noted that the next meeting of the blocâ€™s Assembly will be held early in July.
