First Lady of Azerbaijan becomes Special Envoy of the Organization of the Islamic Conference on the Humanitarian Issues

He said the international conference initiated by the First Lady of Azerbaijan, president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and member of the parliament would promote the role of women in the expanding of cross-culture dialogue. The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu announced that Mehriban Aliyeva was granted with the status of OIC special envoy on the humanitarian issues and introduced the diploma to Mehriban Aliyeva. The First Lady of Azerbaijan expressed gratitude to the participants of the conference and said important issues were touched upon at the event. She called the cross-culture dialogue as a little example of the co-existence. The conference finalized its work.
