Baku hosts international conference â€œExpanding the Role of Women in Cross-Cultural Dialogueâ€

The Minister stated the rights of women in Islam and spoke about problems of women. Katalin Bogyay, State Secretary for International Affairs at the Hungarian Ministry of Education and Culture stressed that the role of women should be increased in cross-cultural dialogue. She hoped that discussed problems in the event would be solved soon. Discussions are being conducted in the event at present. Baku Declaration is going to be adopted at the end of the conference.
The international conference was held on the initiative of MP Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation on June 10. First Ladies of several countries, women working in high positions, as well as Polish Presidentâ€™s spouse Maria Kaczynski, Turkish Prime Ministerâ€™s spouse Amina Erdogan, First Lady of Angola Ana Paula Dos Santos, Svetlana Orlova, Deputy Chairperson of the Russian Federation Council attend the event.
