Elmar Mammadyarov receives UAE Foreign Trade Minister

Baku. Vugar Mansimogluâ€“APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received UAE Foreign Trade Minister Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid bin Sultan al Qasimi, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministryâ€™s Press Service told APA.
The sides estimated cooperation and mutual understanding within the framework of international organizations and stressed the importance of participation of businessmen and establishment of bilateral businesses cooperation during the visits of government representatives. The Foreign Minister stated that Azerbaijan was at the center of regional energy projects and transport routes and noted that Baku-Tbilisi-Gars railway, North-South transport infrastructure are developed towards Europe. The Minister added that Azerbaijan was interested in establishment of free trade zones with Central Asian countries and access to Asian markets. Afterwards, the sides considered cooperation on non-oil sector, tourism, visa simplification for diplomatic and service passport owners, lifting of double taxation, inauguration of UAE embassy, mutual investments and other issues.
