Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament participates in European Conference of Presidents of Parliaments

The Conference will deal with two essential challenges to Europeâ€™s future: finding better ways to involve civil society more closely in the political life of our nations; and having the democratic, Human Rights and rule of law values that underpin all we do to find clearer expression in our daily policies, at national and European level.
PACE President LluÃs Maria de Puig, as well as Speakers of Turkish, Dutch, Hungarian and Albanian Parliaments made a report. Delegation led by Ogtay Asadov, Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament is participating in the assembly as well. The delegation includes Samad Seyidov, head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE and Safa Mirzayev, head of Azerbaijani Parliament Administration. Ogtay Asadov has met with his Turkish, Polish, Albanian, Greek, Bosnia-Herzegovinian counterparts. He has invited his counterparts to the event on 90th anniversary of Azerbaijani Parliament. Presidents of Parliaments have received his invitation with great pleasure.
Ogtay Asadov is expected to meet with members of Ago Monitoring Group today.
